The Bunya pine produces an abundant crop of fruit every three years. Aboriginal people would meet at this time to celebrate and feast on the pine cone nuts. The cone nuts had to be boiled or roasted to remove the harmful toxins.

TOBWABBA ART is a living portrayal of the rich and diverse culture of the Worimi people that has been passed down through the generations.
